Most of the people think that OFF-Page SEO is just about the Links, Well It not only about the links.

OFF-Page SEO builds a perspective to google what others think About your Brand. As most of the bloggers and Content Marketers start with the ON-Page SEO but here's the thing, due to the large level the thing matters to Google is what happens away from your brand Website.

Your brand's value depends on how much time you spend with OFF-Page SEO and it will vary according to them. Dr.Peter Meyers observed that most of the people spend 70% of their time doing ON-Page SEO and 30% to their time OFF-Page when it comes to building SEO but it's totally opposite with the google.

If you want to get ahead with your Competitors you really need to understand the difference between OFF-Page Search Engine Optimization and ON-Page Search optimization.

                           ON-Page SEO vs OFF-Page SEO

When it comes to OFF-Page SEO, you need to think about your brand once again as you need to build the brand Image in front of users. So let's just talk about OFF Page SEO.


OFF-PAGE SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION

OFF-Page SEO refers to what activities you do apart from Website to build/maintain the ranking of your pages. Most of the People think that OFF-Page SEO associates with the Link Building i.e., the higher number of links you build with your website URL the more you get better Ranking to search engine but it's far more deeper than that.

We can build the link by doing Social Bookmarking, Social sharing, Image Sharing, Blog Commenting, Forum Commenting, Guest Post, Video Submission, PDF & PPT Sharing, Etc. But Keyword plays an important Role in this, check your competitor's keyword with the help of SEMrush, Google Keyword Planner and ahref.

When we talk about Link Building you have to research a bit about the DA(Domain Authority), PA(Page Authority), Moz Rank of the sites where you are going to Build the link for the brand of your website.


  • DA (Domain Authority)
Domain Authority is the rating of a website created by Moz to check the Domain popularity of your Website and then they rate them on a scale of 1-100(100 is for the best and 1 for the worst). So, higher the Domain authority of your website better the ranking on search engine. 

  • PA(Page Authority)
Page Authority works just the same as Domain authority but instead of checking the Domain Moz Checks entire page of a website. 


In OFF-Page SEO, Keywords are very important as they can target your Brand. Pick thematic keywords for your title which will help you to get the ranking in SERP.

Just take an Example of a Thematic keyword, but also you have to mention the relevant terms related to your keyword, Like if choose your Keyword "Apple" then how Google will identify that your Brand is about "Apple" Company or Fruit. So if your brand services are iPad, Macbook, iPhone, etc. then Mention the term with your thematic keyword in Title like "Apple Macbook - Buy Macbook pro".

Now let's talk about Link building and where you should build your link which will benefit you.

1. Create a Shareable Content

As we know Content is the king but very few of them know that Distribution is Queen. So you need to create a shareable content which will influence others to share your content. Also, Remember that sharing your same content on your page with altering your Title like "Best SEO tool of 2017" -
"Best SEO tool of 2018"  then how will Google decide that which blog have to crawl so if you're doing the same just STOP doing this and Just update your Old Content.

2. Go for Guest Post

Guest post is simply like posting your content on others website or blogs with the links pointing to your Domain. This will benefit a lot to your ranking and conversion rate. Just research a bit about the blogger and also do check the Domain Authority.

When you are doing research for the guest post, don't focus on the quantity of links you are getting from that, post your content where you will get the quality links.

3. Social Bookmarking 

It is one the best way to get the ranking and traffic of your website. Make your link on the sites whom DA and PR is high which will benefit you most.

Consider these points while making your links:
  • Build  Eye-Catching Title - Use your thematic keywords with related keywords while making your title.
  • Use the Proper description - Don't make your description lengthy as nobody like to read too much. Keep it short and simple.
  • Links - Use the proper link which will point back to your site only to those content which you are sharing. otherwise, you will not make your regular visitors.
  • Proper #hashtag -  Use the Title and content related #hashtags.
  • Do also check whether you are 
4.Social Sharing

Engage the audiences of social media with pitching them a unique content and title. Use the same way as social Bookmarking for creating your title and content. Sharing your business services and ideas will help you to grow.

5. Infographic

In today's world, most of the people attracted to visual instead of Text promotion. Infographic will give you a result you want. as it will be getting more effective in the future. So either you can build an Infographic or you can hire a designer for it.

Write a good content and design it in a unique way and when people start sharing your Infographic then you will get more traffic on Website.

6. Use Forum Submission

Usually, Content Marketer and bloggers don't use this technique but this is a very effective way to get the traffic. Build a community while you participate in the Search forum related to your service and website. Reply to their comments and provide them with valuable suggestions. Use "Do-follow" forum. This technique will help you for a long time.

7. Do Q & A Submission

Go for generic Quest and Answer submission sites and search for the topic your website and business related to and give them valuable suggestions and also provide them your website link which will bring a more traffic for you.

8. Make Use of Broken Links

Content Marketer and bloggers rely on the guest post as they do research for right topic, find the right blog and submit the post over there and they wait for it. These whole process it looks a little bit longer but it will give you profit. but what if you will make use of broken link and build your link over there which will strengthen your domain. 

Bunch of connections that you see on expert sites is dead in reality. This happens when the hosting of the business sites expires and they don't focus on their links. They prompt 404 mistake pages, which don't interest to users.

So, you can make use of that by writing to the blogger or website and instruct them that here is the broken link and just ask them if they can place your website links there over the broken link. This Technique will never go out of date.

9. Document Sharing(PDF/PPT)

Create a PDF/PPT with the information about the service pages and share them with high DA and PR sites. You can use Dropbox, Slideshare, Issuu etc.

Proper Utilization of SEO either you are doing OFF-Page SEO or ON-Page SEO keep your efforts on both sides. Analyse you OFF-Page SEO with social links which will give you traffic to your Website also check their DA and PA.
